Shania was purchased from Butch Patterson in the fall of 2006 as a yearling. She had 70 show points of her own. She was bred to a War Paint son he had. She kidded in the spring to twins. Stray dogs killed the kids when they were about 6 months old. We flushed her that October to Ennobled Eggstended Forcast. We transferred 13 embryos and delivered 8 kids. Five were born dead due to my inexperience and what I now know was a poor worming program. The 3 surviving kids were awesome. The two buck kids won several shows and went on to become the 2008 National Grand Champion Best Pair of Buck Kids, beating some of the top producers in the country. The doe kid didnt do quite as well but did earn 5 pts. with limited showing. Between the 3, shania had earned her kid pts. and was Ennobled in March of 09.
